About cookies
Myori Nordic uses cookies. A cookie is a small data file stored on the visitor's computer and used to track the visitor's interaction with the website. The cookies Myori uses contain no personal information but are assigned a unique ID number (consisting of letters and numbers). In other words, this is anonymized information, and we do not use the information in a way that combines your personal information (which we may have in other systems) with cookie information.

On your first visit to our website and/or after clearing cookies, you will be informed of this by a pop-up on the page that refers to this text and asks for your consent to use cookies. You can also choose which types of cookies you want to use or not. Please note that the website's functions may be affected if you choose not to use cookies.

Types of cookies
There are two main types of cookies. One is a session cookie, which is temporarily stored in the computer's memory while the visitor is on a website; these disappear when the browser is closed. The other type is persistent cookies, which remain on the visitor's computer for a specified period.

These two types of cookies can either be placed by us, making them first-party cookies. Furthermore, other companies (e.g., companies that help us with marketing) may place third-party cookies. Third-party cookies contain statistical information used to improve the website and the visitor's experience.

Why Myori Nordic uses cookies
Myori Nordic uses cookies to improve our website and the visitor's shopping experience. This happens, for example, by adapting the website to the visitor's choices and interests, saving items placed in the shopping cart to facilitate order management, or to improve the search function. They are also used to tailor communication and services to increase relevance for the visitor and to fulfill commitments upon purchase. Session cookies are used to record statistics on how the website is used, while persistent cookies are used to save any personal settings so that the visitor does not have to make them every time the website is visited.

Cookies in our marketing
We use cookies in our marketing to provide you with the best possible experience of Myori Nordic. We use the information in these cookies to:

  • Provide you with personalized and customized content in our channels based on your previous usage (e.g., product searches or pages on the website you have visited). Marketing cookies allow us to adapt our communication and services so that you receive information of increased relevance to you.
  • We also collaborate with other companies that help us with our marketing, known as retargeting. This means that our marketing partners can place persistent cookies or session cookies so that we can provide you with personalized and customized content in other channels you use. Based on how you have used our website, our marketing partners help us show you offers and information about our products and services even when you leave our website, e.g., on social media, in search engines, ad networks, and on other websites where we have purchased advertising.

We collaborate with the following marketing partners:
  • Google – Analytics and Tag Manager. Cookies save information about the products you have visited to display similar products in our banner advertising in Google's network. Google's network includes AdWords, banner advertising, YouTube, and Gmail, and these platforms are affected by Google's cookies.
  • Bing – Microsoft. Bing/Microsoft cookies work similarly to the above, with the difference that they are used in Microsoft's network, such as BingAds.
  • Criteo. Cookies save information about the products you have visited to display similar products in our banner advertising, which is part of Criteo's network. Criteo's network may overlap with Google's Display network but also includes other platforms such as online newspapers and Facebook.
  • Facebook. Cookies save information about your browsing history to show relevant products and offers to you as a customer on Facebook's platforms – currently Facebook, Messenger, and Instagram. Adtraction and their partners through affiliate programs. Cookies save information about your browsing history and whether you make a purchase.
  • Adtraction is our partner for affiliate programs and manages collaborations with blogs, content sites, cashback sites, discount sites, and similar. For example, in collaboration with a cashback site, it is the cookie that saves information about your purchase and ensures that you receive the promised cashback from the cashback site you used.

We continuously work to keep the above list updated, but for shorter periods, some of our marketing partners may be missing.
